Salimar scallop with marinara sauce baked in the oven

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 Salimar scallops
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper
  • Breadcrumbs

PREPARATION

1. For the marinara sauce:

  • Chop the onion finely and add a small piece of red pepper and a clove of garlic.
  • Sauté until the onion is tender and add a little olive oil (you can also add a bay leaf).

2. Salt and pepper the scallops in the shell.

3. Cover each scallop individually with the marinara sauce.

4. Sprinkle each scallop with breadcrumbs and bake at 180º for about 20-30 minutes.
